Sep. 17, 2009 - skining rabbit

Last sauterday we went to the green living,fair at castle espie .
We watched a falla skining and cooking a rabbit bush style it
was good to see how it was done . I have started a course on
agriculture so I am going to go and do some of it and the rest
of my schoolwork .

We had a great time last friday I caught four trout and missed one when i snaped my line. It
was a great wee lake I think i'll go back sometime. Here are a few pictures of the fish we cooked em for supper, oh i forgot the name untill now they were Rainbow trout .

Last week our eggs hatched we aren't shure whether they are hens or roosters
I bought partige waynndottes ( a breed ) and am going to breed them and sell the chicks at the bird fair next year .

Hello all i am writing to tell how the sailing went, it went very well after we had got on some wet suits and life-jackets we decided who was going first There were 6 boats they could only hold 3 people maximum
so Me and my brother went on while the rest went on a life boat to tow us out a bit .

The man who was on with us told us how to tack into the wind ( turn into the wind ) and how to jibe ( another turn ) after a while he let us have a go by ourselfs I think sailings neat i really enjoyed it .

I will post some pictures of us sailing as soon as mum downloads them .

Hello my apologies everyone
for not commenting ect !
The reason for that is 3 days
ago I got Jess she is a
border collie I got her on
Friday night she is realy cute
I am going to train her myself
when she is old enough
but not yet she is only 14
weeks old. If she is good
enough I plan to enter her
in some shows this
summer No pictures yet
but I will post some on my
next post !

Jan. 15, 2009 - stuff we have been doing

Hello folks. I have been quite busy this week
So please excuse my lack of blogging . I have
started my Grade 3 on the piano so that takes
a bit of time. um..... oh yes me and Beth went
over to some friends across the road and
we got a ride on their horse. Horses are all
right But I would rather dogs . this is my
younger sister on Coby.

Jan. 10, 2009 - Experiments !

Hello me and my older brother have been
doing some experimenting first we
got a metal file and filed a
nail and put the shavings in a tub
They come in later ! Next we lit a
candle and poured the shavings
over it. The photos are the results
did you know what makes sparklers
sparkle ? they are made from iron
chippings Pretty much the same
thing we used here. I am glad
we are homeschooled cause you
would not be allowed to do this
sort 'a thing in School.
