Please pray for my stepfather!  It's 11:00 pm and he's in a hospital in So. Cal, had an aneurysm in his aorta (not sure of my spelling for the tears) burst this afternoon, emergency surgery was successful but he's now got a 50/50 chance of survival.  He's 76 years old.  He is sedated, may or may not wake up.  It is in the Lord's hands.  Please pray for his survival, if it is God's will.  Please pray for my mom.  And for our family.  We love this man, he has been married to my mom for about 12 years and has totally loved all of us, the good, the bad and the ugly!  My father died 20 years ago.  I almost feel like I did then.  We just got the news from my sister who lives near my mom.  Thank you to anyone who prays for us.  We appreciate it.
