Not A Lot To Say (For Once)

I just haven't had the time or inclination to blog much lately.  School is going well.  The kids are getting better about chores, their attitudes are improving and Carmen is being more helpful, even asking to help with things.  I jump on that, let me tell you.  She is getting more and more inquisitive about stuff - especially at bedtime when my brain just gels.  I do my best.

We've been busy working in the yard, getting trouble spots in the house cleaned up, Todd has been replacing windows and window trim plus finishing the painting.  Just stuff, you know?  We've had some wonderful warm, dry, sunny, really windy weather the last few days but there's a storm coming tomorrow or next day and we are trying to get the house ready for it.

So ... what's the weather like in your part of the world this week?

Sep. 30, 2008 - weather...

Warm, leaves changing, switching out to fall clothes, dragging down the heaps of winter coats, adding extra blankets to the beds, praying for a sale on feety pj's in everyone's size, pondering moving the 2 cords of hardwood that got dropped off in our driveway on Monday....

Happy Tuesday friend!

Weather around here? Hmmm, just posted on that. You'll have to come over and read. (Not that it's a very exciting post, but, well, you asked.)

Thanks for stopping by! It was wonderful to hear from you! I also enjoy birth stories. I shared my shortened condensed version. hehe I have a tendency towards TMI with stuff like that and thought maybe a short version would be best. *giggles* It was totally the most amazing birth and I am sooo amazed that I managed it without an epidural. The Lord def blessed my last labor&delivery. Dh and I have agreed to a uhh cessation of babymaking so he'll be getting altered in October.lol there is no nice way to put that. hahah We are both excited to start a new chapter of our lives!

I am glad school is going so well for you this year. My 6 year old (almost 7), I swear has school induced ADD. Maybe a boy thing. Math and writing seem to take him FORever. He writes a number or letter down...stares off into space, tries to talk to someone, fiddles with his pencil, drops it, crawls around on the floor to retrieve it...then I nag. LOL It's maddening!

Hope you are having a super day!

The weather in our part of Australia is lovely. It is warming up nicely as it should in Spring. Looking forward to some rain though.

Hello my friend! I think that this is the time when blogging really slows down - until after the holidays. Then the post-holiday feelings set in, and blogging perks you back up, lol! Take your time, and keep us updated when you can. I may not always comment, but I'm always reading and enjoying and sending warm thoughts and happy prayers your way. ((HUGS))

As for the weather in our neck of the woods, it's hot, hot, hot. And I'm crabby, crabby, crabby. Supposed to hit 100 again tomorrow. It's OCTOBER!!!! *sigh* We really need to move.

Have a lovely day, my Kate, and I'll pop by for a visit again soon! Thanks for your visit last week. :) It's always such a pleasure to see you've stopped by.

love,
Shani
