Three's a Crowd

Uneasy

It could be the storm.  Or something else.

But I've got a really uneasy feeling about ... things.  Every time I turn on the radio (my source of the news), I just kind of get the creeps.  I bought a paper yesterday and a lot of the news was just kind of ... you know, creepy.

It all makes me uneasy.  Perhaps it will take time.  I suppose it could be the pendulum swinging from the elephant to the donkey.  It will take some getting used to.  Or maybe I'll never get use to it.  After all, it's been 8 years since this has happened.

In the meantime, I'll have to live with this creepy feeling.  And keep my radio turned off.  I just don't want to hear any more right now.

(The grumblings of a sad and mournful Republican).

I am with you 100%. America no longer stands for what it once did. Our liberties and rights are about to be lost. Scary times. I am just keeping my eyes peeled and listening for the trumpet. Jesus come quickly!

Kate!
I know what you mean. But it could swing back, especially if Obama takes this country in a scary direction & people will actually open their eyes and see what he's doing. Or if we get attacked again and he doesn't handle it well (don't you find it scary that the WORLD is happy about Obama's being elected!?).
My only source is the radio too (we have XM satellite & they have FOX & a conservative right station we listen to a lot). I heard one of the guys we listen to say that usually only one party is in control for 2 election cycles (8 years) and then it swings back- one exception being the Reagan era. So we may have to put up with 8 years but chances are, we'll eventually get another republican in there.
And hey... CA passed prop 8. There's still hope for America! LOL! Seriously, I was almost as concerned with that than the presidential election!
Love, Alyssa

I'm sorry the election didn't go as you hoped it would. We're a bit under-informed about all of Obama's policies over here but I'm sure of one thing. The result of this election impacts the whole world so if you're uneasy, my friend, then I'm uneasy too.
But you never can tell how the future pendulum will swing.
Blessings
