Towhee and Indigo Bunting

Towhee

"A little smaller than a robin.  Eats worms, bugs and sometimes fruit.  He likes to be on the ground.  Song: 'Drink-your-tea" Since he likes to spend so much time on the ground, his nest is on the ground."

Indigo Bunting


"Song: 'Sweet-sweet, sweeter-sweeter, here-here'  IT is bright blue.  Male is all bright blue with only a little black on tail and wings.  Female is brownish with a pale tinge of blue.  They belong to the sparrow family."
