The Cappuccino Life

Jun. 25, 2006 - Nellie B. Miller on life and death

Somewhere Beatuy dwells, all undefiled;

For I have seen a rose unfold

At dawn,

And wonder grow

In the eyes of a child.

Somewhere Love shall live, all unafraid;

For I ahve seen a woman clasp Death's hand

At child-birth,

And pass into the shadows

Undismayed.

Somewhere Life shall live, beyond the blue;

For I have seen the veil wear thin

And fall apart--

And the face of God

Shine through.

Nellie B Miller is. (see the title).

I'm glad someone finally commented on a poem! I've been *loving* the old book of poetry I found!
