Jul. 1, 2006 - A birth and a menu
I am just not feeling up to writing interesting and edifying posts right now. Please forgive. Instead, I will direct you to a very cool birth story (which birth resulted in a very adorable little boy with 7 big sisters!). Kim C. managed to blog during labor, amazing woman that she is!
I will also post this weeks menu, since it is all going to be terribly yummy and I'm going to have fun cooking. I did the grocery shopping this morning, and spend $53. The only thing I'm missing is canned coconut milk, which I couldn't find.
Sunday--Imjaddarah (lentil and rice casserole)
Monday--Spaghetti
Tuesday--Tanzania Chicken
Wednesday--Pizza
Thursday--Beef and Broccoli lo mein
Friday--Thai Chicken Curry
Saturday--Split pea and veggie stew

Hi, Maggie.
I would love to get the recipes for the listed meals. I'm trying to bring my grocery budget down and seem to be failing at finding delicious recipes that are inexpensive.
