Go Wildcats!
This is my whole family's basketball teams - the Wildcats! If you want to see more pictures and stats and stuff go the MCAC Wildcats website. This is my first year of basketball and I am having a terrific time playing and meeting new friends. Do you like sports? Maybe you should try something new too!

Let it snow!
Try making snowflakes! It is so fun and addictive! The Martha Stewart website has some super instructions on how to make awesome looking snowflakes. Our family made them for hours! So, what do you do if you made too many snowflakes? I have some cool ideas!
We protected the wood on our windows by making a guard by taping cereal boxes together. It sort of looks like a box without a top or bottom. Use plastic tack to put your snowflakes on the windows. Then, spray 'snow' spray paint over the snowflakes inside the cereal box protector. Spray lightly...it looks better. You probably could use this idea with other shapes as well?! Let me know if you try something different. Also, small children like to scratch and rub of the snow and make it yucky ...so...if you have small children around only do the upper windows or use this idea...
You could just use the plastic tack and leave them on the window...like this. If you spray paint them they will get all icky and you won't be able to use them next year or for any other projects. Don't they look beautiful?
Another way to use your snowflakes is...take some fishing line and tie your snowflakes to each end. Then tape (we used scotch tape) it somewhere in the middle so that they are hanging at varying heights. This magical look is right inside our front door. I think it is fun when people come and go because they move around like they are floating from the sky! |

Photography is Fun!
This was in Indianapolis, Indiana. I choose it because it was very colorful and had cool angles. It was one of my favorite photos for my 4H photography project. Why don't you go try and take some pictures? |

Paint Your Own Flower Pot
This is the flower pot that I painted. To make one yourself all you need is:
- flower pot
- acrylic paint (whatever colors you like)
- paint brushes
- potting soil
- a flower
Now, clean your pot and let it dry. Then decide how you want to paint it. So...get busy painting! When you are done - plant your own flower and remember to take care of it! |
