I took Eric with me last night to CVS (for GOOD deals) and to Giant. Can I just tell you, this kid is awesome...he is th e best  shopper. He waited soooo patiently while I looked at  tons of different stuff, sorted through coupons and basically took forever. Not  one word... I would look up and he would just be standing there waiting ever so quietly. What a good guy! Girls , you better put dibs on him- he's gonna  be a good catch!! So, I've been watching food network non stop and they will always say "you can find this in your whtever isle in your grocery store. I never see the stuff , but last night I really tookthe time to look- they are right. I cna't believe how much stuff is really at he store that we never see.

I'm on the home stretch of "A heart like His". It has been  good. I am going right into her new study on Esther next  week at a community Bible study at my old, old church. Finding your destiny.... Never done a community Bible study before....

Just a few thoughts after todays study. We are in 2 Sam 24 when David sends Joab out to count  the people..... God actually "moved "David to do it because he was angry with "Israel". Then God is angry that he did it.. kinda confusing. Why was God angry ? Maybe becasue David had deserted the throne God had given him and he didn't trust God to fight his battle this time.....maybe because he did not  stand int he gap and intercede for the sins of  his nation like Moses did or maybe becasue he possessed the wrong motives for taking the cencus..I had to wonder why God would allow David to be tempted to count his people then I read this" God allowed David to be tempted because he saw something in Davids heart that  needed to be exposed"... thought provoking.....whatever the reason God gives him a choice of 3 consequences...he chooses a 3 day plauge. So 70,000 men die as the angel passes over them stopping DIRECTLY  over the threshing floor of Araunah- in Jerusalem. God says: enough. I found it interesting that this place was on Mt. Moriah- the exact place where years before an angel of God had stopped another man from sacrificing his son.... Abraham. God saw mercy there..

The whole point being when you don't understand what God might be doing, we need to acknowledge what we DO  kno w about God and that His ways are higher, then.walk in faith.
