My attempt at cooking part 2
Well dh has migraines so we are constantly watching food that has MSG in it. So most can soups are out.....he is the cook in the family (Praise God!) and I don't cook that much....and we have almost been married 18 years this summer. So I was going to surprise him and another family and make PP Chicken Casserole. Recipe below. So we had no can soup in the house yet I knew he had all the ingredients to make this as he had talked about this casserole with me. So I was trying in the kitchen.....making broth with some "paste" that did not have MSG in it from Sam's he had found....but was stumped on the Cream of Chicken soup....since I had searched and it was not there.....so I improvised and just did double broth. No cream of chicken....so the recipe I made went something like this.
Ok here goes.......the not so perfect Chicken Casserole......
1 sleeve of crushed Ritz Crackers
1/2 stick butter melted
Put that in the bottom of a 11X13 pan
Take 3 boiled chicken breast, diced and place on top of cracker mixture
Then take 22 oz of Chicken Broth and mix with 8 oz Sour Cream
Pour this mixture over the diced chicken
1 more sleeve of crushed Ritz Crackers
Bake 30-40 minutes at 350
Enjoy.......this is not the original recipe......but Jax-Jax liked it alot.....and so did my kids......

My attempt at cooking
Papaw Pringle's Original Chicken Casserole
3 Chicken Breast, cubed or diced
1-8oz Sour Cream
1 can Chicken Broth
1 can Cream of Chicken
1 sleeve (that'll never do.....must have 2 sleeves) Ritz Crackers
1/2 stick butter
Boil your chicken breast. Crush up crackers (I did one whole sleeve) and pour your melted butter over top. Put chicken on top of Ritz Cracker mixture. Then mix together broth, soup, and sour cream. Pour over Chicken layer. Then use the remaining Ritz Crackers crushed sprinkled over top. Cook 350 for 30-40 minutes.
