Today I called April and asked her to come pick up B for VBS. B is sooooo excited to be going to VBS and the brothers are not old enough yet.....he loves this.....so he is going and learning songs, memory verses and coming home with a craft object each day......he feels soooooo big......and he is....sniff sniff
So tonight was our MNO with our local HS group and on top of that we had a daughter of one of our group to speak on how it is growing up being HS'ed. Gayle has done a wonderful job raising her kids.....WAY TO GO GAYLE! And thanks Rebecca for coming to speak with us.....we appreciate it so much....and everything you said was so convicting.....we had fun and the food was great!
Thanks again to this family for sharing your wisdom and insight with us!!

We today had a big day. Rhonda took twins to soccer...we had pictures today....that was neat....Christine and Bobbie took pics and they turned out great! Thanks Guys.
April took B to VBS again...and I know with the stress of VBS she does not need additional B stress of trying to handle my son who has outburst....but I do appreciate all her family is doing to help him stay a part of VBS.
Dad and I had a funeral to go to, our friend who passed away Sunday. It was very sad.....but we got thru it....so terrible and tragic. My dh did the service cause the family wanted "her pastor" to do her service.
Then we ran to our soccer group and saw the boys.....April brought B to the soccer field for pictures and Rhonda was there with the twins. We went off to go to our other close city and go to B's appt for his medicine. We had a great visit at the dr's office....he said he was seeing marked improvement.
We went to a Pizza Place for lunch. Since Dad was off for the funeral we got to have some family time at the Pizza Place....it was good being around dad....but sad as to why he was off. (loss of friend)
Back to the funeral for a moment: We found out today she was only 36 years old.....it seems so young....not that it is 2 years younger than me....but just the fact that she did not get done living....and I know she is leaving behind her son and he will miss her greatly. I also know God is in control and I am not to question....but this was sooooo sudden....Feeling bad Saturday...ER visit....and she left this world Sun afternoon at the hospital. Sorry I keep going on about this...but it was just so sudden. I know there are others out there grieving losses....and I am sorry.....I will get over this...my heart will remain broken...at her not being here to talk to on earth....but what a great reunion in Heaven.

Monday June 12
Wanted to write and tell you what we did.
Today got up and took oldest to VBS up the street.....this is his first "away from Mom" thing....in a long time anyway. A friend is working in the VBS so I know he will be ok even if he has an outburst. Monday he did have an outburst and the friends DH had to pull him aside and talk with him to get him back on an even "keel".....then from what I heard he went back and was fine the rest of the morning. I am so proud of BJ. Also I am thankful for great friends who are so understanding of our "problems" and allow him to stay and be a part of VBS anyway. Thanks April and Cecil. And also Lynn.
Me and the twins went to Rhonda's and visited and we had breakfast....Thanks Rhonda for Breakfast. Then went to pick up B and Rhon's oldest....and then went to a lunch deal with 6 kids....and then on to my house for the kids to play a bit. Then we went to their house for dinner last night. We had a good visit.

Sunday
I know this is the day of rest, but since I am home with the boys while they are still getting over their sickness....I decided I may as well put my time to some good use. I have worked some more on the kitchen....finished the laundry, folded (several) loads, put away vac some of the rooms....there are 2 I still can not see the complete floor in....Living Room and Boys room. I am trying to re-vamp the "library shelves" so lots of the books on the floor and that is my fault....so can't vac in their yet......then the boys room.....all their toys were all meshed together....so I was trying to organize the toys.....and they are all over their room. SO in trying to get the rooms clean....I am messing them up worse than the kids....but all in all it will be nicer once I get done. HAHA (Or at least that is what I am telling myself.)
Hope everyone is having a good day. Mom said she may come out to our church and visit and take us out to dinner.....so now am going to go get the boys ready for church soon.....so I won't feel like a traitor going out to eat but not going to church....LOL

Today was Craft/Science Day at WL....it was a craft that will end up being Science as well......Little Grass House was cute....and we had 8 kids and 4 adults.....I think they turned out cute....then I ran one up to the Feed and Seed lady....she said she wanted to see one....and might do it in VBS....so I took the house and a signed thank you note from the kids and the instructions printed off the computer.
We had so much fun.....and other than me oversleeping and not getting breakfast.....I think it was a good day, fun craft, and great friendship/fellowship. We had so much fun. Thanks Rhonda, April, and Millisa for coming.
Came home and ate lunch.....(breakfast for me!) and now the boys are having some FREE play time....then in a wee bit I will have them do a tad of schoolwork

Went and ran to C's Feed and Seed.....she donated Grass Seed for our Science/Craft Project for Grass House.....thanks to Homeschoolmom2000
She showed her Grass "hut" and I loved the idea....printed out the pages she linked to....and will be taking it for craft at our local HS group on Friday for craft day since the days are getting soooo hot and not wanting to be out in the heat. Went and picked up the sponges.
Then home and I made dinner.....Chicken Casserole.....had our friends over....I don't cook much....and I messed up my Grandfather's (God rest his soul) recipe.....oh well....he would say, "Car, I think it tastes better than mine"....LOL Just wish the mess up would have been a private thing and not in front of friends....LOL....oh well the KIDS LOVED IT!!!!!
Then came home and did a tad of school
BJ did Science 108 pages 19-26, 32 & 33......he was left alone to do his work while I did supper....so he skipped and picked the good stuff.....haha

Today, Monday June 5
Sunday a.m. went to Cornerstone at my Mom's church (where we came from ) and dh preached at our "home" church for Homecoming Sunday. What an honor....then we had dinner on the grounds.....ate....ran home grabbed chicken at a place on the way home cause we were having another dinner on the grounds at 5 for our church and to feed the visiting VBS family........grabbed a small nap....and back to church
Sunday night was kinda strange!
We went to VBS had dinner before it started....then went to Wal-Mart and shopped for some items we needed for VBS....got in after midnight....the kids were hungry....so yes....they had a midnight snack....homemade chocolate chip cookies ( the dough was in fridge from Fri eve) and popcorn......then off to bed.....
Monday was a different day.....
Took Scholastic orders to our friends
We went to Library
Went to Rhonda's for lunch
Took a friend to the Emergency Room
Went and signed up at Scroll for a Summer Reading Program

Today was quite fun.....I went back to teaching and not being on the computer and we finished work in about 3 hours....I stopped at the halfway mark and awarded our little stewards with Oreos. Then had a 15 minute break of playing and I got kitchen swept, laundry in washer, and started on unloading dishwasher. Then on to second hour of work.
We started at 10:30 and finished by 1:30. I am so proud of us!!!
Also we did good for lunch.

Today we had a dr appt for B at a local dr office. They did some testing and want us to go to a dr in Dallas for some more test. Not sure as of yet what I will do. . .yes or no. . .but am praying about it.
Rhonda came over for dinner and we ate and had a good time. Seems the kids are getting along better and better with each passing day.

Today we took a little break from traditional books and such.....worked on Social Skills and helping out a friend...went and picked up Aunt Melanie and watched Nannee McPhee with her....and worked on Spanish....Fun With Spanish...First Words, Numbers, Alphabet, and colors.

Today we are supposed to go to the Park for our HS Group.....we went to pick up Angie and go to Chick-fil-A to get lunch for Gree and Nanee stopped by for a bit.....and Aunt Liz.....the boys did schoolwork at Grees house today. Aunt Ang is going to be starting at the Zoo 3 days a week......told her we would have to go to the zoo to see Aunt Ang......

Today we went and picked up Rhonda and kids. We went to bank, PO., got my skirt from the seamstress, went to eat lunch with Dad and some co-workers at an in-our-small-town restaurant. We also went to the Library and the boys love the I Spy Books sets. . .so we got lots of books/videos. Today was their Anniversary. They spent the day over here and we had pizza for dinner

Woke after the worst night of my life. . .nauseated, coughing, headache, runny nose, sneezing, feeling like I was dying for sure. M had a migraine so no one went to church last night. We are both home today with the boys. Boys are doing schoolwork.I got to feeling a smidge better and thought I would work a wee bit on house while boys did schoolwork. Boys had pizza rolls for lunch and chocolate pudding. Rhonda ran by for a minute to borrow something and then to show Macie all dressed up in a suit we gave to Jax-Jax she looked tooooooo cute in it.

Today was our last soccer day with Soccer group #1. They got their trophies. . .and this a.m. we had movie day instead of park day cause it seemed a wee bit cold this early a.m. Then there was Nikki, April, Rhonda, and me. . .and our 11 kids. .. wow. .3,2,3,3. Then we had a quick run over to the area of soccer and they had junk food. . .and we filled up. .. they got their trophies. . .and we came home. . .

Today we had a Leaders Meeting at my house with Rhonda, April and me and 8 kids in the house. HAHA Some leaders meeting. . .but we did happen to get several things nailed down about our vision for the group and for several ideas on the table.

Tuesday, May 9
Today was our #2 Soccer Team I am coordinating. We went out there and once again Mom coached us. Then our game. We even got our team picture taken today. B and C are on the Crickets and J is on the Grasshoppers. They played soooo hard today. Then home and Aunt Melanie came over and ate lunch with us and we visited, then over to the Ladies Meeting while the boys had a good male bonding moment with Dad. We had a good meeting and I handed out Created to be his Help Meet by Debi Pearl for the Ladies to read over the summer and we can come together after summer and talk about the book.
Wednesday, May 10
Today we started out doing school and I actually am trying to keep the house in order daily. . .it was getting sooooo bad before. Now all I have left to do on the declutter issue is my bedroom (oh and a few closets and pantry and cabinets, but that is hidden for now!) So maybe one day I can go thru my house without their being any additional clutter on the floor. 1st week I made the transition I cleaned the schoolroom and the 2nd week I cleaned the boys and threw out tons of toys and then 3rd I cleaned the Living Room and the 4th I cleaned the kitchen. Now on to my bedroom and why do I always loose momentum when it comes to my bedroom? I need to stay focused at least for my dh so he can have a shiny room to come home to! Went and got J and B hair cuts today as Nannee had gotten C a hair cut a week ago.

We had our 2nd session of Soccer. We got new shirts today. Each team has their own colors. . .I actually coached the boys team today. . .it was quite a bit of fun getting out there with them. Went to eat pizza at a place right up the street from our house. . .it was me and Rhonda and Deb. . .we came back to my house and let the kids play. . .10 kids in the house and 3 adults. . .
Wednesday, May 3
Brandon & Emily came over today while Mom went to get her wisdom teeth that were pulled a couple of weeks ago looked at. . .she was still in pain. Ended up she had dry socket. . .how terrible. . .bless her heart. . .so she got that all taken care of. Boys had a life lesson taught them by Mrs. Rhon today. . .she had them eat an apple without it being cut up or the "skin" taken off. They did very well with this. Choir tonight was 5 kids.

Today Sue made peppers for us. Rhonda was coming over to try them and then I called April and told her to come over and get some. . .she came down real quick and had to get back home. So she got a few. Our HS group on line was down a little bit today. ..but all is well in cyber land and it is back up as we speak tonight.

Again if it is not raining we are going to Black Beauty Ranch. Hoping it is not raining. We had sooooo much fun. . .saw some of the Athens Group out there. . .then to lunch and on to Wal-Mart to get some guinea pig stuff and then to Sher's to get Chewy (short for Chewbaca) and Peanut Butter. . .thus the name Chewy Peanut Butter. He is brown and oh so cute!

Woke up and Rhonda called me to come over for bfast. We had kolaches and then the boys played with her kids. . .and then they wanted to go see Nannee. It was Jack-Jacks bday and so he was going to see his grandmother. . .so the boys wanted to go see their Nannee. We ran Gree to the hair place. Then on to see Nannee and she took us to eat Mex food. . .thanks Nanee. Then we left her and came home. Rhonda came over and we fixed dinner together. It was just J-J and no sisters tonight. The boys did a wee amount of school

This a.m. we woke and went to Park day with our local HS group. It was the 3 Amigos. . .April, Rhonda and Me. We let the kids play a bit. . .then we came back to my house had chicken salad sandwiches and Sopapilla Cheesecake. Then we left and I kidnapped Rhonda and took her to soccer with me in another city. We went out to eat for dinner Fri evening. We had fun. Nannee kept my kids. .. THANKS NANNY!

Not much today. (Last night BJ spent night with nannee) so we went in town and ate pizza for lunch. . .Nanee took Cabe to spend night at her house. Then we came home got ready for our Singing at the church. Rhonda sang and her mom played piano for her. I sang a solo, me and Mike sang a song together. . .then refreshments afterward. Then home and we watched Fun with Dick and Jane.

....but alas in the last 24 hours I have prob done at least 8 loads of dishes and 6 loads of laundry,
not to mention all the laundry I need to fold on my bed. There is tons....LOL......but maybe I can get back on my schedule next week since I am playing catch up this weekend.
