Well we finished our lapbooks on the snail unit.  The girls had a blast putting them together and are so proud of the outcome.

Don't you just love lap books? We are curretly working on one in book club. It's crazy how some of these kids hav forgotten how to be creative. (Some are in public school) That is the hardest part of the book for them. Anyway, yours look great! And we have alot of slugs and snails around here. . .hmmm . . I'm thinking good summer unit study:)

How many lap books would you say your family does a year? I have always had a fascination (from afar) with these books but have found I am too spastic to do in depth unit studies. But now we want to get more into deep studies but I wonder how deep should I dig. So I thought I would as you how deep do you dig. Just to get an idea, lol!

About Me

When people say, "What about socialization?", do they really know what they're saying? Socialized: Under group or government control. Socialization: The adoption of the behavioral patterns of the surrounding culture. Why would we want either of these?
