Wednesday, July 30, 2008 - Planning
I'm so excited about all the planning I've been able to get done this summer. I wanted to get a jump on the actual subject planning so I didn't have to spend hours each week during the school year planning. I'm completely done! Wow, I can't believe it. I was able to get not only the daily lessons planned for each subject but also projects to go along with each. So each week instead of planning out each subject for that week, I will simply have to go to the spreadsheets and cut and paste the information. All I have left to accomplish are study guides and tests for Sarah's history. I have 2 chapters completed. I can't believe this didn't occur to me in any of the other 10 years I've been homeschooling.

I love the planning, book buying, and first month of school. But life gets in the way too much...not in a bad way, but it's not good either. I pray this year will be much more calm now that my hubby is better. Thanks for the blog it was nice to read!
