Monday, August 25, 2008 - 1st Day of School
Well, it happened. We started school today. One child was very excited; the other, well let's just say there weren't any cartwheels from her.
Our first day went really well. There was little adjustment needed in getting back into our school schedule and lessons. Emma was thrilled to finally be officially learning cursive. We did a little last year because she begged me. She has been writing in her own version of cursive because she wanted to know how so badly.
After a couple subjects Sarah admitted it wasn't so bad that school started. Typical for Sarah.
The girls are excited that we are doing drawing/art this year. I found some great drawing lessons as well as several 3-D coloring pages they are excited about.
So far so good.
