Kids Meet Each Other!

Tonight’s meeting at the Rainforest Café went really well! All the kids were so
excited to meet each other. Trey and Kanye refer to all the kids as either “sister”
or “brother” and Trey even called me “Mommy” at the end. :)The Rainforest Café is
a VERY kid-friendly place that is decorated from top to bottom like a rainforest,
complete with animatronic gorillas, life-size elephants, cheetahs, snakes, alligators,
etc.! There was even a thunderstorm every 17 minutes! Ha! It was a very entertaining
place and the kids were beside themselves with it all.
At the end of the dinner (2 hours later) we had our photo taken with Mandy in front
of the restaurant. It was difficult to keep Trey and Kanye for the photos, but I
think they turned out okay. Ha!
Pray for Mandy as she gets the boys’ things together for the trip home. It is also
her last night with them since she has court tomorrow and cannot stay with them
after that point. They will stay with their grandmother, Monica, at a location different
than their home until after our court hearing on Friday morning. Mandy said in tears
tonight how this would be the hardest night for her. So, PLEASE, keep them in your
prayers!
