How do you handle interruptions in your days?
Do you plow right on over them missing opportunities God has placed on your path?
What interruptions frustrate you the most?
How are you working to overcome that?
This is a topic that I do not enjoy discussing. I do not always handle interruptions graciously and sometimes I do not remain spirit-led when handling those “blessed interruptions”. I am the first to admit that I am not good at this, although I’m sure my hubby and kiddos would attest to this fact. J
I am a very organized person. I like to accomplish my plan, make those nice little marks on my checklist and only then can I handle the spontaneity that the day ushers in with grace. In other words it’s, “Me first, others second.” Eeeek!
The question is, CAN I handle these interruptions graciously? Can I look at them as being blessings? Yes, I CAN, but it is something I must CHOOSE to do. Aren’t all our actions chosen by us, whether good or bad? Let us all choose to handle our interruptions with grace, dignity and continue to be guided by the Holy Spirit in our daily lives!
