Refined, Not Comfortable

My quote of the week (from Sunday's sermon)...

"Comfortable living produces weak character."

Truly, being comfortable seems quite desirable.

Just last week, I heard on Dobson the reminder

that the Christian's life is full of adversity, not

always comfort and prosperity as this world defines it.

So, with that in mind, I would rather be refined by my Father

and a woman of Godly character than comfortable.

Apply this quote as needed in your life this week!

It seems pretty evident that life is not meant to be easy--I suppose if it were we wouldn't learn much from it!

This simple post is wonderful! It is just what I needed to hear today. I know that if I were comfortable, I would not have this yearning within to be a better mom. How sorrowful that would be for my little blessings! (Forgive me Lord, for complaining!)
