sevdi and the vets

One evening, me and dad went to do chores. we called sevdi and she wouldn't come. We went over to the chicken barn and saw sevdi. She was curled up in a little ball. Dad took her and put her in the pen for a little while and then went inside. I hoped she would be o.k. Dad said "I'm going to take Sevdi to the vet carrie, do you want to come?" and i said YES!! We went to the vets. I didn't think it would look like it looked. There was some dog food there, some leashes and some candy for kids and treats for dogs. They asked what breed of dog sevdi was. Dad said Kangle. They looked on their chart of animals and they couldn't find the kind that dad said so they added it to their list. They said to go in a room with Sevdi so we walked in the room. Then they took Sevdi and I don't know what they did with her because they took her to another room and we had to stay in the first room. We had to leave her there overnight. The next day they called dad and they were going to keep her for another night so i really really hoped that she was o.k. We took her back on Monday and they had shaved her legs. They didn't know what had happened to her but they thought that she might have gotten into something bad. One time when we were outside we saw this deer leg. Robin said "Oh! Maybe Sevdi ate a sick deer and then she got sick!" Now sevdi is o.k. Dad tied a pole to her and yesterday she was running out in the feild with a pole tied to her. All the horses followed her. Dad said that maybe all the horses think it's funny seeing a dog with a pole tied to her. I hope that she doesn't run away and get into bad things now that she has the pole attached to her. We had to do that to Maisie too when we had her but dad was a little more harsh with her. She learned but she was a little scared of Dad after. Dad doesn't want to be too harsh with Sevdi now that he knows more. --carrie |
