Dec. 18, 2008 - The Recent Faces of William
Our little boy is a charmer. A friend described him as a "card". This little one has a very purposeful sense of humor. He's recently "discovered" the camera as something for which to ham it up. He does a funny scrunchy face when he realizes there might be a picture opportunity.

I wrapped presents last night and didn't get to his huge truck. He found it this morning. He is cute despite the darkness!

He enjoys hanging out with Wayde so very much. This is a common position - in Daddy's lap at the computer.

We recently got a copy of the Chinaberry catalog. I don't recall seeing it before. Lots of neat stuff. Anyway, William sat on my lap for at least 30 minutes paging through this catalog. The video below shows his careful perusal and occasional commentary. (If you look closely in the background, right at the begining, you'll see Eme doing a little foot tapping. This is her "dance" she does all. the. time.)
And his latest trick is feeding himself. He's been capable for a while. I just haven't wanted to deal with the mess. Last night, Wayde set food down for Eme. Well! William scampered right up the chair and started digging right in! He didn't make much mess until the end either. He just chomped and chomped and chomped!
