Amazing Grace

Here's a video of amy and I playing amazing grace. Amy played trumpet and I played clarinet. It took about ten tries to get it down but somehow we got one video that was good enough! We aren't that good at it but here it is. Enjoy!

Another story.

"Wait for me!" Melinda ran after her sisters as fast as her three-year-old legs could go. "I want to play in the fountain too!" Poor Melinda, She couldn't go half as fast as her sisters. "Momma, Will you carry me so I can go fast?" Melinda up at her mother questioningly. "Well it's not far so I will but on the way home you will walk." Melinda's mother agreed. Soon Melinda was enjoying herself playing in the fountain at the park. "This is so fun!" She cried happily.

Once the girls were done playing they slowly walked home. It wasn't far but to Melinda it was! She slowly trudged home, cold and tired.
Once home her mother put her to bed for a nap. Melinda hated naps so after much crying and screaming she finally went to sleep. When she woke up she ran outside to play in the leaves. She picked up one leaf after another and put it in her toy cart.

Soon her mother called her to supper. Today they were having her favorite food! Since her father was not home her mother severed the children Macaroni and Cheese. Satisfied after her maccoroni and cheese and cookies she went to look at books. Soon her father arrived home. Her mother went to cook him supper and he read a book to Melinda.

After that it was time to go to bed. It had been a very enjoyable day.

Short story.

Here is a silly story I wrote a while ago. It would have been longer but I got tired of writing it so I ended it pretty quick!

"Help!" I screamed. Plop I landed at the bottom of the hole. "Oh well." I sighed. I wondered, would I ever be able to jump down the hole and grab the chest?
The hole wasn't deep and it was easy to get out... but to grab the little box... that's a different story!

It all started last year... It was a cold day. Snow and sleet were falling down. The I heard a knock. I opened the door.
"Hello, package." I stared. the man had come and gone so fast!
"Okay..." I looked down. A small package was sitting at my feet. I opened it.
How disappointing! All I saw was a envelope in the box. I opened it.
There was a paper it said:

I'm on Main St. In a book cellar's house. Noah Webster wrote me. Now what does that word mean?

It looked as though it had been written with a typewriter. "That's strange!" I said.
And right away it hit me! It meant that in the bookstore on main st. I would find Noah Websters dictionary! Right away I set off. The only dictionary they sold was not the right one but wait!
The clue had said book cellars house. That meant I needed to find the owners house and look in the cellar and I'd find the dictionary and open it and I'd find the clue!
So that's what happened. The lady was kind and let me look in the cellar and behind a loose brick was the book and there I found the clue!
I think I started at the end of the hunt because the clue said:

The official treasure and end of this hunt is at 1234 Greesy Drive Yahoot City, Wyoming. There you will find a hole and a box on a ledge. Hurry! Time is running out!

So I rushed over and found the hole and saw the box on the ledge and time was running out because they were going to dynamite the hole real soon so now I was trying to get the box.

Finally! I grabbed it! I opened it once I was home. Here is a list of it's contents:

12 golden braclets
5 sets of silver earings
50 bars the size of a flute of solid gold

There's too many things! I won't give a list! But I tell you! It sure would be long! So now I'm rich!
And why I got the box I'll never know! But I'm rich! So I don't care!

The End

It's short and silly but I had fun writing it well I was doing it!
Gotta go!

Busy days!

A few days ago I decided I wanted to play the clarinet. We have two of them that nobody plays so I started. I decided to see if my dad could help some and teach me. My dad played when he was my age which was a long time ago of course so all he remembered was was some tips and he can play some songs but not enough to teach me actually so I'm basically on my own. I can play two songs now though. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and When I Survey the Wonderous Cross. It doesn't sound that great... I always am stopping to get a sip of water or pausing a few seconds to catch my breath but I enjoy doing what I can! I don't have any pictures right now but soon I might post a video or something. ( Knowing me I probably will never get around to it! ) Does anybody who is reading this play the clarinet?

I'm going to try to start posting more often.  Amy and I decided we'd go a month with no computer games. We could catch up on e-mailing that way. (I'm still not sure I like that idea though.)

It's been busy lately. My grandparents came for Amy's birthday. Alison has gotten more violin students and now we are having speacial meetings at church for eight days straight which means guests for lunch every day and I think we'll have some people staying at our house a night or two also!

It's funny. My title reminds me of a little kids book
Busy Day's. There's Busy Day's and then I think there's More Busy Day's. There's a bunch in that series!

Well gotta go! I've got a lot of e-mails to write now... I love to e-mail. That's fun so don't think I don't like to e-mail you if you're on the list but I don't like having a big stack! I've got about four long e-mails to write! Well I'd better get working on them!

Bye!

My Birthday!

Tuesday was my birthday! It was lots of fun! I got lots of fun presents!
One of my favorite presents was the game Slamwich! You probably haven't heard of it but it's hard to explain! Anyhow it's lots of fun to play!
I got the 5th book of the moody series called Summer Days With The Moodys. I really like that book!
I also got a western set! Belt, holster, gun, handcuffs, keys for handcuffs, ( you don't need them though!)  and a sheriff badge.
The guns actually make sound so it's lots of fun! A while ago I got boots too! So now I have all I need except for a horse of course! Anyone have one they don't need?
There was a toy horse at Sams Club I saw that could hold 140 pounds but it's to expensive! Besides you can only sit in one spot!
I got other presents but those were my favorites! I also went to Cafe' 95 with daddy for my birthday date!
I had a chicken ceaser wrap! It was sooooooooo good!
It was lots of fun! Maybe I'll post pictures later!
gotta go!
