Life's Daily Grind
| I've been subscribing to a daily email devotional and it's been great. I really needed it to keep me having a daily time with God. It had been slipping through my daily routing. Today's devotional was all about mom's and how we can get start being discouraged about the daily grind of life. I know that I can get that way so very easily. Another load of laundry to get done, dinner that needs to be cooked, some activity that the children need to get to. The incredible thing is that it took all this "stuff" and brought it to the cross. I had never thought of it in that way. All the little things we do in the house, we are serving our family, we are denying self and picking up our cross. To realize that all the things we do even the laundry are glorifying GOD. I love that thought!!! I will be glorifying GOD tonight not only through prayer and songs but through laundry, cooking dinner, and tucking precious angels in bed. |
