LEGO Maniacs!!
Halloween 2006

Watch the old LEGO Maniac TV commercial - click here

The kids and I had a fun time making their LEGO costumes! They received alot of attention from the neighbors and other kids. Most people picked up on the fact that they were LEGO pretty quick. Each cup on the front had LEGO printed on it and the back of their costumes had LEGO in big letters. We did have a couple confused people - Jake was asked if he was a cup holder and a couple thought the kids were robots.

What great costumes!!! My daughter (5) was sitting behind me when the photo popped up and she said "Look Mom, LEGOS!!!" A cup holder? Must be someone who hasn't been in the house with kids for a looooong time! Those are just awesome!

Jake, Ryan, and Daphne,
I like your costumes, and it looks like you had fun. But who is the creepy guy with the joker hat in the background?
Happy Halloween
Love,
Uncle Nate

The costumes are great. Your babies are all grown and beautiful. And it sounds like you are doing a great job homeschooling. You are braver than me. I have to have the kids in school so I can go to school. I'm working on my AA degree. Plus, Tristan needs so much special needs attention (speech, OT, developmental therapy, special reading group and help with writing) that it would be difficult for him to get what he needs at home. I think it's great you are homeschooling , and I know your kids will benefit from it.

How adorable! My older son was a "LEGO maniac" when he was little (he is now 23) He would have loved to do this for Halloween. You have a GREAT imagination!
