I know it's been awhile since I posted. We have been pretty busy around here. The home inspection, appraisal etc. on our tudor house has been completed with no problems. The home inspection on the farmhouse raised several larger concerns. We are having further inspections and estimates for that done. The farmhouse appraisal was today and those results should be in by Friday. We are scheduled to move in 40 days!!
We have been dealing with more cold, snow, and ice. It's bitterly cold today with a high of 7 and 30+mph winds so the kids are stuck inside. However, here are a couple snow photos from last week.

This past weekend I took the kids to a Kids Expo downtown and we had a blast! There were many performances and vendors. Jake was even called up on stage to be an assistant in the magic show!! (I didn't bring my camera - ah!) I did manage a photo of Daphne when we returned home. Notice the pretty butterfly face paint and fire safety hat?!
Answers to Prayer ~ Over the weekend, the van started making a very loud knocking sound. I was nervous but there was nothing I could do about it. I prayed that the kids and I would make it home without breaking down. The van sounded horrible but it got us home! Praise God! Zac thinks it threw a rod in the engine. It is now sitting in the driveway and it will be replaced once we close on the farmhouse. My other praise is from today. I went to unload the dryer but the clothes were literally frozen inside of it! Apparently the dryer did not dry the clothes last night! I tried numerous times to start the dryer but it would not turn on. I stopped and prayed that God would fix the dryer. I unloaded all of the frozen clothes and scooped out the ice and it still wouldn't work. I tried the dryer once more and it started! Woo Hoo
