We have been doubling up on some of our school work since the kids decided they would rather do more work and get done sooner. The schools around here go untill the end of June but we plan to be done by the begining of it.
I organized a Co-op field trip to the Journey through the Body Exhibt sponsored by an area hospital. Zac was able to come with us this year and the kids enjoyed it. I took photos and will try to post them later....
The kids have been bowling at Co-op the past few weeks and they are starting to get better. Ryan got a strike and a few spares this week and Jake also had a few spares. Daphne was excited to use a purple bowling ball and she was sure they put it in her lane for her since she loves purple!
Our desk top computer has been having issues of turning itself off for no reason while we are using it. It now has another problem... the right hand side of the monitor screen is all purple and blue because one of the kids used our jumbo magnet to see if it was magnetic! The magent somehow messed up the colors on the screen..how weird.
Boaz (our dog) is doing better on the Evo grain free dog food. His arm and belly rash are almost gone. We also started him on Bug Off Garlic Chewables instead of using the typical flea/tick medicine. He has horrid garlic breath for about an hour after eating his chewable but if we can keep him bug free naturally it's worth it.
What else...
The house hunt continues.. yesterday we looked at two more. The first one we really liked but it was too small. It was advertised as a 3bdrm with new kitchen etcc but what they failed to mention was that there was NO dining room or even an eating area for a table in the kitchen! The owners ate at the counter on stools. It will make a cute place for a couple without kids but not us. The 2nd house .. wow.. made me wish the kids were not with us looking because the renter had to hold back his pit bull who was in heat (seriously!) while we looked through the house that was filled with witchcraft items. This house hunting is insane.. I have decided to start praying specifically for the type of house not just "a house"
The weather is sunny and warm today so I'm going to take the kids out to enjoy it. I have a few photos of them flying kites and Daphne learning to ride her bike without training wheels that I took earlier this week. I'll try to upload those later too.
We are 63 days away from our beach vacation and we are getting excited!! I need to organize with my friend Tery so we have meals etc.. planned out. We are also going to celebrate Ryan and Daphne's birthdays while we are there.
Please keep praying for Grammy Hugill. She had a stroke a couple months ago and while she has made some progress she still has a long road ahead of her.
That's it for now ~
