  Did you know that the world's longest-living cat lived to be over thirty-four years old - thats like a human living to be more than 150!

Then word tabby is thought to come from the word Atabi, which is a type of silk that has a striped pattern and is made in Attabiah in the Middle East. Because tabby cats had coats with the same kind of pattern they were named after the Atabi silk.

I am an ailurophile, an ailurophile is another name for someone who loves cats. And someone who hates or is scared of cats is called an ailurophobe.

hi, i just joined and i LOOOOOVE cats!!!! i have three cats, look at my blog for posts about them!!!! i can't post the link to my blog now because my computer is having problems and it will not work! i am in china now and i have seen to stray kittties! one was a TINY,TINY little kitten the other one looked like a full grown cat and it was jumping in and out of garbage cans! they were not togther!!!!

MY CATS

name: Harlie     age:4   color: white with carmel colored spots    nickname: Harlie barlie marlie, boy, hearlie meerlie beerlie    other: he and grayson( one of my other cats ) race around the house like elephants!!

name:Grayson     age: about a year  color: gray tabby  nickname: goose, goosie, sweetie pie     other: one vet said he was a girl but the second vet said he was a boy( we belived the second vet ) we had named him gracie before!! he was a stray by our shed!! 

my favorite is B  

name: Beethoven      age: 4 or 5   color:  white with some orange   nicknames: B,mr. B the manatee    other: he was my sisters but she moved and couldn't keep him!!  he lays like a manantee!!!!
