My granddaughter Holly who has spent most of her life in Romania didn’t get to learn about the 4^th of July traditional fireworks. See her mother's article here: http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/KarenW/

I watched the Capital Fourth, The Boston Pops and part of Macy’s Fireworks. Ours here in Decatur fizzled out before the finale because of a misfire that started a small fire. The Fire Department then shut them down.

I had a great time watching from the comfort of my home, it was hot here in Decatur, AL

It sure is great to be in a country where we can celebrate with family and friends and not be beaten, jailed or killed because they failed to comply with some rule concerning head dress or dress or men and women embracing in a public place. Or just being identified as a Christian.

I saw a wonderful video clip of a soldier and a young lady kissing in the park during the fireworks. Let Freedom Ring! God Bless America!
