Note by Andy - Ernie was a faithful member and long term supporter of the Morgan West Gideons in Decatur.  Ernie took frequent trips to New York City to help with Bible Blitz's in the city.  Ernie placed hundreds of Bibles in hotels in New York and other places.  To God be the Glory!
