Are you opening presents on Christmas Eve or are you waiting till Christmas? Our house is opening the kids Christmas on the 24th and then they will have an opportunity to go home and have their own Christmas on Christmas day. Since we have 5 extra people with us this year, its fun to watch the kids as they anticipate how much longer till Christmas eve. I think they have it down to the hours now. What I'm wondering is will they get any sleep tonight? Last evening we watched Christmas with the Kranks. What a hoot! It wes so dumb it was funny. Tonight we will probably watch Longitude part 2. Since I used to be the Gyro man on my ship, I have a great interest is this movie. I hope it is not as rotten as the ratings on "Rotten Tomatoes" Bible Reading Calendar Revelation 14 Several Cards are here - It's not too late to send a Christmas Card Click here! http://www.presidentialprayerteam.org/site/PageServer?pagename=ppt_ecard_home&s_nav=no
Well it's been a busy day. I feel just like old Hoke in driving Ms. Daisy. Today I took Ms. Dixie out for her final round of Christmas shopping. It’s good to be back home! Hopefully, this will be the last round, but, some emergency may come up and off to the store I’ll have to go. The traffic this afternoon was awful! Too many people out looking for too much stuff!! I wish our traffic cameras were on-line so we could see the mess out there. I was thinking this week that a good book for teaching history just in case you didn’t know about it is “The Light and the Glory” Also known as: The Light and the Glory: Children's Activity Book Authors: Peter Marshall, David Manuel is a wonderful book about the history of the Moody Monthly This Day in History December 23, 1968 Crew of USS Pueblo released by North Korea Remember the brave crew of the USS Pueblo! Trusting that you will have a wonderful Christmas. God Bless you all. Andy Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 44 of 71 } { Next Page } |
