I have been reading "A Thomas Jefferson Education" by Oliver Van de Mille, for the last several days, and I am finding it fascinating. For the last two years or so we have been homeschooling using Ambleside Online. I love it, my children love it, and we notice wonderful progress in the girls. I receive constant comments from others about how articulate the girls are. I hear their discussions with others and feel like we made a great choice.
Now I have been reading this book and think perhaps I could make a few changes and it would still be better.
I would love to hear comments from anyone else who is using the Thomas Jefferson Education style of learning and and the results you are seeing. I wonder what differences there are in the method when compared with Charlotte Mason.
I must go for now,
