Chase Home School
• Apr. 29, 2008 - What's happening in our neck of the woods...
Life is normal here, still hectic as ever. To give a full update would take ... well, more time than I have now!
Last week we adopted a new "baby" - another 4-footed one. We were handed a baby raccoon. Not sure if its a boy or a girl. My girls named it Clyde. I'm calling it Snickers. We originally estimated him to be around 2.5 weeks, last week. Now, as his eyes opened today, we are saying now that he is 2.5 weeks yesterday.
Our squirrel, Sammy, is now about 9 months and as fat and spoiled as ever.
Teddy, our flying squirrel, is cute, and the same.
Our rabbit total got up to 18 and we started parting with them. Now we have 3, and that's plenty!
Our birds are too numerous to count, but I am expecting more to arrive Wednesday. More pheasants!
And of course there are the 3 cats, who are very unimpressed with the raccoon.
Homeschooling is going well, more on that later. This week is the Ultimate Home School Expo! That is my week!
Love,
