• Jan. 27, 2009 - Happy New Year... But you already knew that!
| Its a new year, time for wonderful new starts! I love having a new year to work with.
So, to get the new year off to a good start I changed the picture on the blog.
Lets see, since I've posted so few and far between, there have been a few changes and additions here at our home. We have adopted a second raccoon. The first one, originally named "Clyde" is now named Zoe. SHE now weighs in at 24lbs. Our newer one is Xander (short for Alexander) and he is all boy. Both are now spayed and neutered, have their shots and are wonderful little (big) monsters.
We got some new pheasants and now have taken in a peahen that needed a home. We still have our squirrel Sammy, although she now rules the roost out in the aviary, keeping it safe from all intruders, including my husband.
Because we have a new year, I have made a list of things to accomplish for the new year. More on that tomorrow. I also have a list of books to read this year.
Another great thing is that next Monday my mother and I will start into a weight loss program through the University of Florida. We are looking forward to this.
