Well it is that time.......Show and Tell Friday with Canadagirl. Recently my family and I traveled to South Alabama for a graduation and funeral. (This is the area we lived in 3 years ago.) I know you have read before my LOVE for the beach. That is one of the many reasons I loved living in that area. Also the wildlife is different than I was used to see growing up. We took a day in all the activities while visiting to rest, relax, and play. Here are a few things we saw while visiting:
Cute little fella, huh? (yes he/she is in the wild, next to the road to the beach)

Also we had a big treat. This past school year we studied Apologia's elementary science book, Zoology 1: Flying Creatures. We learned about different types of nest. Well while on our trip, we saw a platform nest..........with a baby bird in it!!!

See the baby

We had a great day.....and a little science lesson as well.
Be blessed,
Chasity

Sorry to hear about your hernia, my FIL just had his done. NO lifting for SIX WEEKS. I hope you have lots of helping hands. Praying for a quick recovery.

What a very cool picture! I'm totally impressed and envious at your good fortune at seeing these creatures. My DD is doing Apologia's Flying Creatures this year, as well. Wish I'd had those books when my 2 youngest were that age.
Just checking in to see how the Bible Challenge is going. I'm red-faced to just be coming by NOW, after slacking off in my posts for TWO weeks.
Have a great day!

I'm not sure I'd want to get out at the beach after seeing that guy along the way! Great picture. I love the ones of the birds. How cool!
