I am still around, haha. I want to do some new post, but I am on my hubby's laptop. It is an older model and does not have a card reader on it.....and I have some pics to post. I hope to get them up soon.
Also, yes I did take my weight ticker off my blog. The reason is basically I am the same....up and down 5 lbs from what I had lost. I am at a stand still due to being limited in exercise due to the hernia. I have not found much sucess in just cutting cals. I need to do cardio as well. I think, I am going to try to start biking, but slower and not as many miles. I will not push myself too hard, as not to strain the hernia. Over all I am thrilled to be down 30, but I need to lose more. It is a set back, but that is okay. As far as surgery (it took my doc 7 weeks to get my medical record?? don't ask/long story).....I go back in August for another consult, then who knows. I plan to take the kids to some water park outings, so I will schedule surgery after that. It is not an emergency, so I plan to work around everything....I have waited this long, what is another month or 12, haha.
Hope things are well with bloggy land.
Be blessed,
Chasity

Hello dear friend! Today is the last day my oldest and his beloved are home. They are packing and packing. I think they are both amazed at how much "stuff" they had!
I had a hernia since the birth of child number 4. for some reason the doctors ignored it...even though I was in pain. They said it was cause I was fat...
Anyway a wonderful doctor ask me how long I had suffered with it and when I told her 11 years she had a fit! The surgery was easy and recovery mild. I had no idea how much it affected me untill it was gone! What a difference it made in everyday movement and exercise.
I do understand about the weight ticker...even though I made the goal. I do not record the ups and downs. I know you will make your goal in Gods timing. Just keeping the 30 lbs off is a fantastic feat.
I was in such "fear" during the wedding week of totally gaining pounds and pounds...unhealthy of me to be that way but it was the way I felt! I enjoyed the food anyway. All of it! I gained 5 lbs. Itched all week. ( I learned on this lifestyle journey that I am sensitive to preservitives and food colors) I worked hard this week and lost it all. So I think I have reached the point where this is truely a lifestyle change.
Pray your week is very blessed! HUGS

Hi, Chasity...I have been gone for a bit, and yes, time is flying by! I took my WL ticker down, too. Same reason...no hernia, though :-( Oh, gosh, that sounds funny, that I have a "sad face" because I don't have a hernia...
No hernia, though :-D
I overhauled my blog, and decided to take down the WLW posts, and blog about that kind of stuff over at Homesteadblogger. Gotta get these things figured out! Anyway, I finally got part 4 of "I Wish I Could Go To A Farm" posted...took me wayyy too long, but it's up if you want to keep up with the story!
Have a blessed week!
