I am sorry I just did not have the time to do much more today. I have been out of town for graduation and a funeral. Eating has been difficult since being on the road for several days. I did try to make good choices most of the time. I have not weighed all week, since I was not home. I forgot to weigh this morning, now that I am home.

Please remember me tomorrow........I meet with the surgeon in the AM RE: hernia.

Welcome to WLW....I am so glad you came by to join us.

Last week, I had a stomach virus. I Know it was a virus because my son had it is well. I am back to normal now, well no stomach virus anyway, lol. 

This week has been okay. I was out a lot due to the girls recital (it was great, BTW). So, I did not eat as well as I should have. (No weight loss or gain) I have some new ideas for some foods/cal intake.... I will share with you in a bit. First, I wanted to let you know, I went to the Dr Monday due to a mass I found it in my abdomen. I suspected it to be a hernia. My family Dr concurred. As a result, I will be going to a surgeon next week. This is a small group.....however 2 of our gals have had similar stories recently. First Lori had 2 masses, then Tina found one. As you go through your busy day, please remember to pray for our group. We have all worked so hard to better our body, it can be frustrating to have things like this happening.

On to my new ideas. I have been wanting new recipes. I feel like I eat the same thing over and over. I am not as motivated beacuse I am tired of the food. I found a new show on that takes comfort foods and changes them into low cal. You can find the recipes or watch the episodes here. I have ordered 3 new cookbooks. I hope to replace some of my old recipes with these new ones. Also on the show they have a simple way to figure how many cals to eat in a day. Take your goal weight and multiply by 10...that is how many cals you need daily. That is so easy!!! For example if your goal weight is 130 then x10=1300 cal per day, 140 would be 1400 cals, so forth and so on. That is probably the easiest way to figure the cals needed.

Welcome to WLW....I am the hostess that has been missing again. I knew I would not get on line much until after this Saturday. Ballet will be over then for the summer. I hope to get back next week and post regularly.

WLW this week has been rough!!! Not because I ate bad or anything. I had a stomach thingy. On Saturday night after I ate, I got sick. I even missed church on Sunday. I slept all night and all day until Monday. I was unable to eat more than toast, crackers, etc. I have been unable to drink my water as well, because it makes me sick again. I was actually hungry for the first time last night, but was very hestitate to eat. I had a little. This morning I was hungry too. I ate some dry cereal. I am not ready to eat just anything, but glad I can keep something down. I did not exercise during it either because it made me want to hurl, sorry if that is too graphic, lol.

My weight has been up and down through this all. My stomach is very swollen because of the sickness. I am down 0.5lb this AM.

I do feel tons better this morning. I feel normal, well normal for me. Except, I do not want to eat much.

Welcome to WLW..........and uhhhhhhhh this and that while I have been MIA.

Well this week I was MIA. (Honestly, I was last week as well.) I have missed you all here in bloggyland. I have been busy, although I think of you all often. I have not been on to post or read anyone's blogs in a while. So what have I been up to???? A little bit of everything.

~We finished up our current school year Friday. So, I have been busy organizing that stuff....putting away the old and setting out the new. I am about done with that, except doing grades and doing the report card for my cover school. I have been working on lesson plans for next school year. (We start June 1st) I hope to put together a post soon explaining our schedule and our year around schooling.

~My girl's are gearing up for spring ballet recital. So, extra practices are on my horizon. Also we had a fund raiser for ballet this past Saturday.

~I had wonderful company this weekend.

~My youngest is playing t-ball........so to the field we go.

~Church is busy, as always….Gearing up to go to 2 Sunday morning services in June. I have 2 more weeks in the Beth Moore bible study I am teaching. We are doing Esther, and it is AMAZING!!!!

~Also I am in the Read the Bible in the year meme. I was behind this past week. However, I got caught up today, WAHOO!!! I am almost done with 2 Kings then on to Chronicles.

~Making great memories with my kids. The upcoming weeks are the longest we ever take off for school. So, I am trying to plan and make the most of everything.

For example today, we went school supply shopping. Can I tell you, I LOVE school supplies!!! Maybe because I LOVE them so much, I make an effort of getting supplies, special to my kids. When I was little one of my favorite things to do was buy my school supplies for the year. Well as homeschoolers, we may miss this memory maker. So, I decided not to this year. I made each child a printed list of supplies they needed. (you know pencil, crayons, compass, notebooks, etc.....I also put things we used for the house that could be considered for school also, such as hand soap and paper towels.) Off to the store we went, list in little cute hands. They were so excited. It was a blast!!! We even found boxes for them to personalize for all their supplies. This will be a yearly tradition now.

~Well enough rambling.........on the diet healthy living front. After my winter blues then Spring fever (at this rate...I will have an excuse every season ) and my diet break. I had gained 6 lbs. So this week, I have refocused and buckled down. I am counting my cals daily and drinking my water. I only wished I had got more cardio in, but with school out......I hope to get this back in the plan. As of this morning, I am down 4 lbs (of the 6). I hope to keep that going!!!! The important thing is that we keep going. If I keep myself in check, I can handle this. You know a 6 lb weight gain does not thrill me, but it is manageable. Before, I would have put on 6 then 10 and so forth and so on. I hope all of you had a wonderful week!!!!!!

Well it is that time again, WLW. Do to a major change in my schedule, I am unable to post a WLW this week. Well not completely. I have a minute right now, but it will not be lengthy. (Mainly I wanted to give my fellow WLW poster a place to link to)

This past week went fairly well. I was able to maintain my cals and increase my exercise. Although, I did not get in as much as I feel I need. Not sure about my weight. I was up from my ticker one of the times I weighed, then after Monday I was back down. I forgot to weigh this morning, so I am not sure where I am at on the scale. I hope you are doing well. I am sorry for this short post. I hope to be back to regular scheduled program next week. lol!!

I hope you all have had an amazing week. Also remember WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!
