Blogger Friend School #11

This week's assignment is to visit our classmates, and there's over 200 hundred of them, leave a comment to let them know we are praying for them.  You can find the list of classmates here.

My assignment:
I'll visit 15 blogs a day and leave comments. Hopefully, some days I'll be able to visit more, but right now that is better than what I have been doing.

My needs: Prioritizing better use of my time. I have a full-time job that I do at home, plus attempting to school the boys and well, my house has suffered. See original post here and the only update here. When the house is like this, working is difficult (mentally because it's so cluttered) and making sure I have the next days school plans in place usually never happens. I wanted to find Joshua's MUS book for him to use over the weekend and didn't find it until yesterday - Monday. That's just one example!!

Reducing the clutter is the first big step in getting our house ready to sell. While we do enjoy the roominess of this house and the location (isn't location everything to a realtor?), our goal is to for me to only work part-time and eventual not at all. I've reviewed the list of items I thought we should do before putting it on the market, and well, some of them simply aren't that important. Getting the clutter out and slapping some paint on some of the walls, and then hopefully our realtor will bring out that For Sale sign. Then the fun really begins!!

Praise: I've recently decided to not take two medications prescribed by my doctor. One was with her knowledge, the other wasn't. Depending on results from blood work, I may end up back on the one she doesn't know I stopped. But my praise is this ~ since being off of these two medications, I haven't been as tired as I have that last year. Rarely am I taking an afternoon nap. Rarely am I feeling the need to "escape" to the bed. And I am sleeping better at night. So overall this is a MAJOR PRAISE for me as I am starting to feel like ME ME ME again.

I pray that the Lord will give you the diligence to prioritize/organize your time and home. This is a situation I can certainly sympathize with and am dealing with myself. Thanks for sharing your assignment and have a blessed week.

Praying for you. I know how it can be with working and schooling. I used to work with the hubby 3 times a week. I'm now able to pull away from the business, due to the oldest daughter helping. However, I'm in the mist of starting a new job with health benefits that is a blessing. It's wild the way our prayers are answered.

Praying your home becomes most successful with the organization that you want.

Blessings,
Debbie

Lord,
I lift up my dear blogging sister asking that you would renew her spirit. I pray that you will help her to prioritize her time and have the wisdom to whittle away all of the things from her schedule that are not pleasing to you. I ask that you would guide her as she teaches her children and as she prepares her house for the market. I ask that you would bless her decision to simplify her life so that she can be home more for her family.

In your precious and holy name,

Amen

Be Blessed!

I will be praying for you this week!! I know exactly where you are coming from. I used to run our company from our house, try to homeschool then-four kids and keep house. I thought I could multi-task but I simply could not do those three big jobs at 100% function!! Praying that God will bless your family this Christmas season.

Father God~

I pray in agreement with my sister in Christ and lay these things at the foot of the Cross for you to handle. Everytime Lord that my Sister wants to pick them and walk in her own flesh remind her that it is Your burden to carry.

Lord, Bless the children of this houshold today and everyday. Bless the mom of this household with the skills and talents that she needs to raise Your children the way you want them raised. Bless the dad of this household with a deep loving relationship with his children and with you, Father. Also, bless this family with your perfect health and healing.

I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.
