Let's go on a nature walk
After Joshua wanting to be mailed to TN and realizing that his box busted, they wanted to go on a nature walk. Well, it was very close to lunch time, so we decided to wait for Martin.

Oh yes, they were "ready" for their nature walk. They had their bows from Boys' Club Co-Op last year. Their backpacks, pencils, and anything else they thought they could carry.

This is a birch tree we have in the front yard. As we waited for Martin, I attempted to being our "nature" walk. They weren't interested. But I've always thought a "curly birch tree" as my Daddy always called it, was very fascinating to look at.

FINALLY......let's go!!!

A birds nest in a neighbors yard.

Oh spring, wherefore art thou????

For my little rock collector. Thankfully this biggie was in a neighbors yard. What's in a neighbors yard, stays in a neighbors yard. LOL

Hey, what is this? Is this an elephant on our walk? Nope, just Dixie Grits, the dog.

Caleb was excited to find two pine cones still together on a twig. Trust me they are no longer together.

Joshua's pine cone.

Caleb also found a really interesting leaf.
And that was our nature walk. Hope you enjoyed. |
