Mar. 31, 2008 - First evening away

We are updating frequently so the kids don't have to miss us so bad! This is the scene we left...

Yes it was tough to leave. However, the kids were enthralled with Nana and Papa Sam so I think all will be ok!
Papa drove.

Mama worried.

We stopped to get drinks. One funny thing was that Papa was sitting in the van when he suddenly realized that he didn't HAVE to stay in the van because there were no kids. So we went in and chose our drinks together!

It was very very windy. We had to sometimes slow down to 50 to stay in our lane on the road.

After the rain it cleared up and we had a pretty sunset.

We decided to stop to eat. You kids would have liked it. It was called Fuddruckers!
Table for two?
