The Coati is a mammal related to the raccoon, but the species has a characteristic, long snout and bear-like paws. Coatimundis have a reddish, brown or dark coat, depending on the species, with a lighter under-part and a white-ringed tail in most cases. All coatis share a slender head with an elongated, slightly upward-turned nose, small ears, dark feet and a long, non-prehensile tail used for balance and signalling.
What is so funny about a Coati is that they love perfume... Or any sweet smelling thing.. What they will do is pat the area where that smell is and then rub the smell into their tail. No one really knows why they do this but it is so funny and very cute to watch..

That is so cute that they like perfume....... it looks a little like an anteater and a lemur all in one. Because the snout is like an anteaters and the tail and coloring is similar to a lemur. Well g2g ttyl
