"Little Green Frog"

Posted on Aug. 13, 2007 at 12:28 AM in Animal Gallery

I went over to a friend house on Saturday and I saw my bffe's mom,Peggy, talking to the owners of the house,Tomme and Simona. Then she spotted something on the ground and picked it up. All I heard was 'How cute!' before actually making it over there. Then Mrs. Peggy wandered into the backyard and so I said hello to the one of the owners of the house,Tomme, and wandered into the backyard. Well lo and behold Mrs Peggy  had a little green tree frog in her hands and she was showing Declan (Tomme and Simona's son) and Brandon the frog.. I couldn't resist being my typical animal conservationist self,I HAD to get a closer look. I asked to hold it and she put it on my hand,it just sat there on the top of my hand. Then the other owner of the house,Simona, came over and I asked her to take a picture of the frog for my animal blog. So I reached into my pocket to get my cell phone.

She and Mrs. Peggy laughed about how I  just flipped out my cell and there was a potable camera. Ha! Techonology is a good thing   So she took a picture of me and the frog and here it is.

You can't exactly see my eyes and how excited I am. I'm sorry the frog is blurry but ha! Yeah whatever. Anyway,I gave the frog back to Mrs. Peggy and she took it over to a tree but it just kept jumping onto her shirt. Then it jumped onto the ground and the kids were freaking out cause a frog was near their foot.. Ha,kids!!!!!! LOL So then I scooped it back up and took it back over to the tree. After much thought the frog jumped down and hopped away underneath the tree.. That was my exciting adventure :)

Oh and I found out that the snake the other day in the bushes, actually the bushes were in Tomme and Simona's yard, was probably laying her eggs in there. Simona saw it and picked it up and it turned around and bit her. Good thing Garter snakes are non-venomous. Tomme said that the snake was very swollen around the cloaca. So more than likely she was trying to lay an egg when Simona picked it up. I don't know. I have never seen garter snake and what the body looks like RIGHT before laying an egg. I only see the aftermath. Hee hee. You can read the story about the snake here. It's the second paragraph.

Drop A Blossom!

I have 14 blossoms! Thank you!

Ok, no offense but I don't like frogs. I guess the reason why is when Sarah and I were little, when she would have a frog in her hand she would bring it so close to my face that it totally freaked me out that I don't like them now. : ) I'm not a snake person either, though I go swimming where there's snakes. Go figure! : )

I live in Alabama. Yes, it is beautiful. We're so glad we moved here when we did. I did something different to my blog. You can't miss it. Come see when you have time. : ) Well, have a wonderfully blessed day!

That's cool! We used to have an abundance of frogs around our house, like on the outside lamps and stuff. Now they're all in the trees. We have some of those green tree frogs, they are cute if they don't pee on you while you're holding them. lol

Ooh, that's cool. Do you know any Japanese words? Yoshie taught us some. She said I could say "goodnight" pretty good. Oyasumi... grr I can't remember how to spell it. LOL

SoOoOoOoOoOo cool!!! Man, you know a TON more than me, girl!!! I'm going to have to come out there and take lessons!!! LOL

Anyhow, i e-mailed you...our doggy ran away *sniff...WAAAAAA!!!!* i want him back home!!! Please pray that we find him SOON....even though we'd probably get a puppy if he didn't come back, I'd still want Harley our dog instead of a puppy. Even though a puppy's cute, I want my baby doggy boy back!!! *sniff*

Nothing new over here besides that. Sorry i haven't been commenting over here very often. It takes a while to get to the comments because it has to get the videos in first, but oh, well. The videos never play for me anyhow, thanks to our wonderful computer!!! *arg...*

got to go for now...

Haha. What's funny is that over here, you don't really hear the frogs that much when it's dry. But when we get a heavy rain, they're like a choir of frogs. lol it's funny to listen to.

That's cool! Yeah, I figured out hai, from listening to Yoshie talk on the phone, and watching Memoirs of a Geisha. lol One of my friends learned some Japanese from a friend and while I was IMing her, she was putting the Japanese up and asking Yoshie if it was spelled right, etc. Yoshie gave me an amazed look and asked, "How does she know all that?" hehe

You aren't going to like me anymore. I stepped on a frog and killed it. : ( Honestly, I think it was already died but I stepped on it and it grossed me out so bad. It's kinda funny what happened though. I was by my closet and my foot barely touch it and I was like "Sarah, you have to come see want I just stepped on and don't tell me what it is". Well, the next day she told me what it was. I thought it was a frog but I wasn't sure and I didn't want to be right. : ) I know, I'm weird. : ) Well, I guess I've taken up enough of your time and space, so I'll be going. Have a wonderfully blessed day!

lots of hugs,
Jordan Lee

P.S. Do you still like me? : )

Yeah, I thought Memoirs of a Geisha was interesting and very well made. And I loved the music for it. Yup, yup, I know the main actress is Chinese, a few other actresses in there were Chinese. What's funny, is I can pretty much tell between a Chinese person and a Japanese person, but Yoshie said she couldn't see any difference. She and my mom went to a Chinese resturant and a waitress there started talking to Yoshie in Chinese. LOL Yoshie sent us a kimono a couple months ago that my sisters and I dressed in and took pics. It was fun.

No a/c??? Aaaah, I think I'd die if we didn't have any a/c. You have three little brothers?? wow..... lol I have enough troubles with two younger sisters. haha But I usually try to leave them alone... hahahaha

Ah, that'd be cool. Yoshie didn't send us everything for the kimono, but it still looks cool.

Wow... lots of siblings. lol

I'm really tired right now... I had a neckache and started falling alseep on my mom's bed (it's verrrry comfortable), so I moved to my bed... and couldn't sleep. So it made me more tired and zombie-like. haha

Awwww! He is so cute. Well.....it could be a girl. But yeah, Jordan was so funny. She grossed out when she stepped on that frog. But I felt sorry for even though it was dead. I couldn't resist telling her what it was. But I thnk it was a baby tree frog. :-D
Have a blessed day.

Hey Julia,

Ooh thanks for the long comment! :)

lol Sometimes... or usually, I stay on the computer for long periods of time because I have nothing else to do. But that usually makes me really tired sitting her staring at a screen all day. lol

Hehe, busy, busy. I don't like being really busy, but I also don't like being really bored. :P

What's it like to be an aunt at 16? I have a few other friends that are aunts, I always wondered what it's like. I think I knew two girls in gymnastics class that were aunt and niece who were around the same age, if I remember correctly. lol

We have a lot of zoos here. I love looking at the big cats. :)

Have fun!
