One more funny
Emeline was pushing Marie Osmond (my old Barbie) and Shaggy (a Scooby Doo Barbie) in Milo's Tonka dump truck tonight. They were going pretty fast in circles on the living room rug. Then I hear Emeline saying to the riders, "Hold on to your careers!"
I started laughing before I could even ask her what she thought that meant. Did she know what a career was, I asked?
"A bottom?" she answered.
Then I had to bust out laughing all over again.

That's so funny! I keep trying to figure out what word she might have meant?!
My son did something similar a couple of weeks ago. He came downstairs from playing a video game and informed me that I was his "minion." I laughed, and asked him what a minion was. He knew he was treading on thin ice, but wasn't sure why. So then he said, "A partner?" Good answer, boy!

That is just too cute! When my sister was little, she used to sing one of the lines in the song He Set Me Free as - he broke the "ponds" of prison - instead of "bonds". LOL It is funny to hear what words kids really think we are saying....:)

Now THAT is hysterical. And considering the fact that I WAS a 'career' person b4 small son was born.....I do really consider that the 'bottom' part of my life. Maybe she's just WAYYYYY more spiritually mature than anyone realizes.
