January 30, 2006 - LOST WITHOUT COMPUTER!
Hi everyone!
I'm sorry it has been ages since I have blogged on here. My computer had crashed completly right after Christmas and is being rebuilt! I only get to check rarely, on a friend's laptop. I also get to check when I go into my volunteer job, answering phones at the Red Cross. They have a computer there and they are kind enough to let me check my email there. Since I have access to the laptop tonight I thought I would let everyone know what has been going on.
Thanks Col for checking up on me, you are so sweet to care about me. Everything is going fine.
I just lost the only store in my entire area that sells Homeschool supplies. I have no idea how I am ever going to get the stuff I need for homeschooling. Georgia has NO homeschool supply stores anywhere near me. Getting worried as soon will be done with some of her stuff. We are going to San Antonio, Texas to my son-in-law's Air Force Basic Graduation. Jenni will be learning a lot about the Alamo. Not to mention the stuff she will see being on an Air Force base and all the things she will learn. She never would have been able to attend if she was in a public school, that is just one of 100's of reasons why I love homeschooling!
Well that's all I can tell now. Gee I miss being able to blog and read everyone's Blogs. Computer should be repaired soon. At least I am praying it will be soon.

IF YOU'RE GOING TO BE IN TEXAS, WE HAVE A LOT OF STORES. I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THE SAN ANTONIO AREA, BUT I KNOW IN DALLAS WE HAVE QUITE A FEW REALLY GOOD ONES. IF YOU HAVE TIME MAYBE YOU CAN FIND ONE IN SA. AREA OR VISIT SOME IN DALLAS. I CAN GIVE YOU THE NAMES OF A FEW IN THE AREA.
HOME EDUCATOR'S RESCOURCE...ONE IN DUNCANVILLE TEXAS AND ANOTHER IN LEWISVILLE TX. THE FIRST IS CLOSER TO DALLAS AND THE OTHER IS FURTHER NORTH TOWARDS OKLAHOMA. I'LL SEE WHAT I CAN FIND OUT ABOUT THE SA. AREA AND EMAIL THAT TO YOU. ALSO, THERE IS ONLINE. ONLY THING IS YOU CAN'T USUALLY SEE MUCH OF THE ACTUAL STUFF. THEY MIGHT HAVE SAMPLE PAGES, BUT IT IS NICE TO BE ABLE TO FLIP THROUGH THE MATERIALS AS A WHOLE. ANYWAY, HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT TIME ON YOUR TRIP.
