Warning! This is a complete brag about my daughter

I have been so overwhelmed with my messy house and all that needs to be done and the thought that baby could come at anytime. My wonderful daughter, Locksley (10), cleaned up my kitchen and livingroom today without me even asking her to. Granted I went back and did it a little more thoroughly, but she did a great job! She unloaded and loaded the dishwasher, picked up all the stuff off the floor, swept, cleaned off the table and counters and took the trash out. Then she straightened up my livingroom, put away the all the clothes that I had folded and cleaned up all the toys in the hallway. She got everything to a point that I don't feel so overwhelmed and I don't have to do much bending over. She is just the greatest! Everytime I got up, she would say "Mom, just rest! I have everything under control." She even made Peanut butter and honey sandwiches for her and her sisters' for lunch. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful daughter! I just had to share!

I had to admit that your post brought tears to my eyes. That is the sweetest thing I've ever read and I don't blame you one little bit for bragging. I'm going to share it with Brianna...maybe it will give her some ideas! lol You know how she likes to keep up with Locksley. ;-)

What a blessing for you... my nine year old made pancakes for everyone this morning... he's been so great lately as I try to get everything ready for the Challenge on my blog.

So I was stopping to see how you're feeling and how everything's coming... you're getting close! Said a prayer today! We have more on the prayer list, so be sure to stop by and send an encouraging note to those who are getting closer!

Blessings,
Amy

There comes a time in every mom's life that has a daughter when mom stands in the shadow and lets daughter shine. Way to let your daughter shine! She is a blessed little girl to have a mother willing to share about her in the why you did. Love it!!
