Pork, the other white meat?

Speaking of detox benefits, I discovered quite by accident why I
think the Lord told the Israelites to eat no pork under the Old
Covenant. I couldn’t eat pork while I was on the detox diet. Why?
Because pigs have no sweat glands in their skin (which is why they like
to lie in the mud to cool off). Sweat carries away toxins, and pigs
retain more toxins than animals with sweat glands in their skin. Which
we ingest when we eat pork.

Funny I happened by your blog today, as I just started a detox myself! I will probably post about it soon, but I believe I have yeast overgrowth as well. Mine is different, in that I am not eating any thing with sugar or yeast, including fruit. Also, I have been doing so much research, and have read that pork is very unhealthy, and that all pork carries a virus that is not good. Also, just by the diet pigs eat, the meat can't be that healthful to us. This is what I have found so far. I am curious, how long did you do the detox? What benefits have you seen from it? This is my 5th day, and I am already down 2 lbs. Thanks!

I am researching the holy days which were instituted by God as a celebration of the Messiah, instead of celebrating the holy days which were instituted by man to honor nature in place of nature's God.
