Jesus said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”
This is why. Knowing the truth in the core of your being produces
liberty from sin, death, and all the power of the devil, and also sets
free from the law of commandments contained in ordinances, from the
religion of obligation. Renewing our mind changes the nature of our soul
so that our soul lines up with the new man nature of our born-again
spirit, and we walk (actions) in the Spirit and not in the flesh.
