To Be More Like Him

~And They Knew Him Not~

This is a very, very special time of the year for all the world and yet still their is only a few that truly knows and understands. Some think they know Jesus but their are those in the end that will desire to enter into Heaven and will hear the words "depart from me ye workers of iniquity I never knew you". So that tells me that not only do you need to know Jesus but, He must know you also. We must have an intimate relationship with the Lord. I ask you, how can you possibly say you know Him without an intimate relationship?  We can't just know Him or know of Him. He wants a deeply devoted relationship between you and Him. Love Him with all you got and surrender yourself completely to the Lord.

1John 1:26 says, Therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not.

John 1:29 says, John answered them, saying, I baptize you with water; but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not.

The world knew Him not, how can this be? there were a lot of them that grew up around Jesus and knew Him in the flesh but not in the Spirit. Most in the churches know Him as Jesus, the son of Mary and Joseph, the miracle worker, the healer of their finances, the healer of their sicknesses and afflictions, but few really know Him as "Jesus the Christ", our "Saviour" and soon coming "King".

Oh there are so many verses I would love to bring out right now but not enough time. I know you get the point. If you are married then you know the longing, yearning, burning need to have that very close relationship with your spouse. You don't like sharing them with their old lovers now do you. He doesn't like to share you with the things in your life that gets between you and Him. Let Him rearrange your life to meet His standard for you. Make Him happy with you by obeying Him and showing Him the faith and trust you have in Him. These are the things that are pleasing to Him.

If you don't know "Him" then you can by calling on His name right now and ask Him to come into your heart and wash your sins away. then turn away from your sins and walk with Jesus and He will walk with you. If you want or need prayer or just to talk about the Lord (which I love to do!!!) then you can Email me anytime and I will do what the Lord would have me do for you.

Remember He suffered & died for our sins while we were yet sinners so He wants us to come as we are. Then He will work on us to make the nessessary changes in us. God is so good to us, why did we waste so much of our lives without Him?

Blessing to all & Happy Easter!!!

In Him; Elton

Just stopping by to say hello. (You left a comment on my blog earlier today.)

I'm so glad your family has found the Charlotte Mason method of homeschooling. I think it is wonderful.

We are only in our second year and I still lack much experience and knowledge. My all-time favorite Charlotte Mason blog is:

http://higherupandfurtherin.blogspot.com

You have probably already heard of her (Lindafay). She is great and very faithful to answer any specific questions regarding a Charlotte Mason education.

Hope your family is well,
Stacy
