KEEP TRYING!!!!!!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If boys should get discouraged At lessons or at work, And say,"There is no use trying," And all hard tasks should shirk, And keep on shirking, shirking, Till the boy becomes a man, I wonder what the world would do To carry out its plan? The coward in the conflict Gives up at first defeat; If once repulsed, his courage Lies shattered at his feet. The brave heart wins the battle; Because, through thick and thin, He'll not give up as conquered; He fights, and fights to win. So, boys, don't get disheartened Because at first you fail. At last you will prevail. try, try, and try again; The boys who've kept on trying Have made the world's best men. By: Eben E.Rexford ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I just love those old poems of yesteryear! We see all too often HS'ers giving up and putting their DCs in public schools. I know HS'ing takes up a lot of our "free time" We are with our DC the biggest percentage of time while public schoolers are with their DC the least amount of time. So public school Moms get all this "free time" to do what they want while their DC and DH are at school and work. In the mean time their DC are taught things that "if" you knew about it you certainly would not approve of the subject matter they are learning and sometimes are urged not to tell their parents about it (teaching; sex education, Darwin theory, the Bible is wrong, errors in the Bible, wrong to lift up the name of "Jesus Christ" in public, wrong to "pray" in public, promotes homosexuality, lesbianism, ETC...) Sometimes your DC change before you relize it and then you don't know them anymore and they don't trust you, they rather hang out with their friends instead of you, your not their friend anymore and your wondering "what happened?" Think about what could happen before you giveup. Do you really want to give up now? Is the "free time" really worth it? Many sacrifices have been made for worthy causes like HS'ing. I say it's worth every tear you cried, every fear you've had, every battle you had, every stand you made, every victory you've had, and all for the purpose of raising loving, caring, Godly children that want you to be their "best friend for life!" Don't give up on HS'ing your DC The best in your child is yet to come!!! Elton
