You may have been wondering what I'm doing since I haven't posted in awhile.  Well... I've been trying to be a good steward of my time - computer time that is - and I've had something else to do with that computer time....

Play with my new computer!

I went and bought myself a new computer...a MacBook to be exact.  I've been moving files, learning my way around the Mac system (I'm a long time PC user), and just getting acquainted.  I need to name her.  (Yes, I've decided it has to be a her cuz I'm in love and I couldn't be in love with another man now could I :)

I'm open to suggestions for a name.  I'd love to here your ideas.  She's sleek and thin (my idol).  She's also  BLACK!  I've already had a car named "Black Beauty" so don't suggest that.  Anyway, here's a picture of her!

So, hopefully, now that I know may way around a little better, I will feel more comfortable spending time blogging.  I almost feel guilty about not keeping up.  I know that the 10 of you who read have missed me!

I cannot believe you blogged about this. Just the other day when my daughter was discussing for the 100th time her yet to be purchased, longed for iPod, she told me, "What should I name her?"

"Name her? Why would you need to name her?"

"Whenever you buy a product from Apple, you have to give it a name?"

"Who said?"

She just looked at me like I had two heads. I thought surely it was something only young teenage girls did. Now I see... not so, not so. I really am hopelessly out of it. :o(

It's good to see you back and with your new blogging vessel in hand. How about naming it The Chronicle? It records all you do in a variety of ways.

I didn't know that rule either! I just had one friend who did it and thought it was neat. Wow...now that I know it's the hip thing to do I'll HAVE to do it.

Of naming something that you will be "intimate" so to speak.. I have names for just about everything..

I don't feel bad naming things that I spent alot of time with now.

How about Carrie? Your MacBook will "carrie" all of your bloggin until you change to another apple notebook or unto a disk.. :)
