It's A Quack

This morning was cleaning day and ofcourse the two year old wants nothing to do with it! So, she is taking toys out of the toy box and laughing at us as we sigh and pick up behind her. Apparently this was hilarious! She was giggling uncontrollably when my mom started quizzing her on the animals. It didn't take long for her to get bored - short attention span. But after dog, cat, bird, pig ect. we got to Duck. And when asked what animal the rubby ducky was she glows and looks my mom dead in the eye "It's a QUACK MAMA!" as if this was the supidist question ever asked!! She looked so sure that we couldnt all help but laughing while she was left sitting in my mothers lap seriously confused.

Swim Meet Tomorrow Morning

Tomorrow morning, bright and early, I have a swim meet. My current freestyle time is a 39.03 but I need a 37.12 to beat my opponent! I practiced really hard all week and really want this.

This is only my third meet and it is indeed my first year of swim. Our team is small but strong and I have finally made myself official! My sister is unfortunatly the only one in her age bracket and will never be able to feel how accomplished as I at this moment. Tis' sad but nice aswell because she is always winning first place medals! lol

Fruit For Thought

Aristotle Said ::

The woman was the soil, recieving and bringing forth the seed, whilst the man was the "sower".

This demonstrates two things ::

1. That Aristotle could not have had much practical experience with women and children

and

2. It shows how wrong things can go when men are allowed to reign supreme in feilds of philosophy and science.

Parts from pages 115 and 116 of Sophies World, by Jostein Gaarger

Well moms, what do you think?!
