"Dd . . . dd . . . dinner! Mommy, dinner starts with 'd!'"

Hey, do you hear that? Sss . . . sss . . . salad! Salad starts with 'ssssss'"

Ok, I know I wanted him to learn his letters, but now he's making me crazy! I keep looking for Ernie and Bert to start singing! I think it's time to start reading!

LOL....Lisa you are so funny. I remember those Sesame Street years and still remember all the songs. I am glad my girls are a bit grown up now. Hang in there..it only gets worse...um, I mean better :)

Quite cute really. I remember those days. Everytime she would say, "hey mom, ccc, car starts with a c!" I would say "yep, and so does cat, crawl, can, cup, ..." and so on. And we could talk about how you spell them and write them down. My favorites ages are from about 18 months to about 6 yrs old. The children are so moldable. What i mean is, they just go with you on everything without thinking twice or hesitation. They are so totally teachable. I remember one day i noticed that i actually had all my conversations on the level of a toddler it seemed, hahahahaha. cherish the craziness! It won't last for long.
