MORE OF CHAPTER TWO

Queen Abri wiped the sweat off of her forehead

. It had been a long, hot day, and she longed for a wild ride through the woods, with the wind blowing in her face and her hair whipping behind. She glanced around and lightly touched the scabbard of her sword, Mgof. These woods were dangerous, and they still had three more days until they reached the city of Hroihing. She sighed and again glanced around, taking in every detail. The sun shone off of her unicorn’s horn, almost blinding her. She huffed. That was it! She had had it, they were stopping. She waved to one of her counselors. He rode over and bowed low. “Your highness?” “Go,” she said. “Find a scout and send him ahead to look for a good resting place. I am getting weary.” he nodded, then rode over to the captain, speaking low. The captain nodded, and beckoned to a young soldier, who in turn spoke and rode off. Queen Abri patted her unicorn’s mane and rubbed her neck. “soon we will rest, little one,” she said. “then you and I will ride like the wind together.” The unicorn nodded her head, for she was not a dumb animal, but could understand everything you said. Queen Abri leaned back in the saddle as the sun disappeared. The night brought no relief to the heat. Slowly the stars came out, and Queen Abri again waved to the counselor. “where is he?” she asked impatiently, and frowned. “He will be back soon, Your highness,” he answered, and again rode to his place. Finally the soldier rounded the corner and spoke to the captain, who yelled over his shoulder, “Resting place ahead!” The soldiers all cheered, and quickened their pace. Queen Abri looked irritably at the star studded sky, and sighed. “There will be no riding like the wind tonight,” she told her unicorn softly. The unicorn neighed softly in return, and Queen Abri again set her eyes on the road ahead. It was going to be a long three days.

Hey. Awe, you've never been to the beach? This will only be like my fourth time and I'm going to be 17. I love the BEACH and all that but I hate the OCEAN! HAHA. Like, one of my friends family's got attacked by jellyfish! And I'm like AAAHH! Haha. Anyways, I'm sure that's a rare thing but I never have wanted to get in the ocean more than ankle deep. haha.

Maybe I'll pm part of my story to you sometime. I think you'd like it. :) No beach? I love the beach, and the ocean, and have been there quite a few times!!!! It's really rather pleasant to warm up to cold ocean water and splash in the salty spray! Anyway, must go,

I CANNOT GET INTO MY ACCOUNT!!!!!
I changed my password and now i can't get in. so i may be starting another blog...... but i'm not sure so I'll keep you posted.
